Device Agent for Windows

A single PowerShell script that pulls a basic inventory of this computer — installed applications and core system info — and files it directly to your case, live, while you're on the phone with your investigator. Nothing is installed; nothing is left behind.

[*] How to run it — TL;DR

  1. Download the file above. It'll land in your Downloads folder.
  2. Right-click SwiftDeviceAgent.ps1 and choose Run with PowerShell.
  3. If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" SmartScreen prompt, click More info, then Run anyway. (This is standard for any script downloaded from the internet — it's expected.)
  4. If PowerShell blocks the script with an execution-policy error instead, open PowerShell as Administrator and run:
    Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process Bypass
    then re-run the script.
  5. When prompted, type in your case number exactly as your investigator gave it to you (e.g. 117331-KG44T).
  6. Confirm your name and case shown on screen are correct, then press Enter to begin the scan.
  7. Wait a few seconds — you'll see [+] REPORT FILED when it's done. That's it, you can close the window.
